This past week I've been clattering around the city in unsensible shoes, standing annoyed in many a queue and slouching uncomfortably on hard wooden benches (if seated at all) this was London Fashion Week. And I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
All of my content is up on the Glam website who took me back for the week, but here's a couple of my favourite shows...Phoebe English
Designs were simple, yet so well executed; angular yet feminine.
Kinder Aggugini
Birds, cowboys and horses peppered these pretty designs, in a palette of blue, green and orange, finished with re-vamped Doc Martens and paraded along to Usher's 'Yeah' and Kelis' 'Milkshake.
Jonathan Saunders
Stripes, chequer, florals and tartan, girlish, city, sporty luxe.
Maarten Van Der Horst- Fashion East
Girl meets boy as masculine lines come in feminine colours. Not forgetting pyjama party prints as pin-stripes blend with rose florals.
James Long- Fashion East
Russian architecture implores decadent fabrics and rich colours.
Aminaka Wilmont
Playing with the conflict between hard and soft, the collection was influenced by glass, both in its solid and molten states. This whole show was dark, moody and super-duper sexy. Now it's back to more applying for internships that I won't get and jobs that don't exist!
